Founded in 2006 by a diverse group of scholars and advocates from various sectors, including human rights, media, and civil society organizations, EFASOM works tirelessly to support education in Somalia, particularly in crisis and post-crisis recovery situations. The organization’s mission is to provide inclusive education for all, with a focus on marginalized groups, including women and children, amidst ongoing regional challenges.
