As Worlddidac Asia 2025 continues in full swing at the Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center, international collaboration takes center stage. One of the most anticipated highlights on Day 2 was the China–Indonesia Higher Education Procurement & Matchmaking Session, which gathered senior representatives from over 40 Indonesian universities, private schools, and vocational institutions, including Universitas Indonesia and the country’s largest university, Universitas Pamulang.
These institutions presented detailed procurement needs across educational tools, smart classrooms, vocational training systems, and digital campus solutions—demonstrating Indonesia’s strong demand for modern, technology-driven learning environments.
Matchmaking in Action: From Dialogue to Deal
More than 50 Chinese EdTech companies actively participated in one-on-one matchmaking sessions, showcasing innovations such as AI blackboards, virtual labs, coding kits, and adaptive learning platforms. The outcome? Concrete interest from Indonesian universities and numerous initial cooperation agreements formed on the spot.
A key moment was the formal release of Universitas Pamulang’s annual procurement plan, signaling one of the largest opportunities for Chinese providers. With over 100,000 enrolled students, the university is seeking partners for integrated smart classroom systems, digital learning platforms, and applied training equipment.
Focused matchmaking and procurement sessions highlight the event’s platform power
Expanding the Worlddidac Asia Matchmaking Platform
This procurement session forms part of a broader international buyer engagement program that runs throughout Worlddidac Asia 2025. From AI-powered matchmaking tools to onsite delegation hosting, the event continues to position itself as Asia’s most practical and outcomes-focused education platform.
To further deepen engagement, Meorient will organize a follow-up Ministry of Education–led buyer mission to Indonesia in November 2025, bringing 100+ local institutions into direct contact with Chinese EdTech providers. This marks a vital step in scaling partnerships for sustainable, tech-enabled learning environments across Southeast Asia.
