Codeavour 6.0 International: A Global Showdown of Innovation, Celebrating Young Changemakers from 23 Countries!

The journey of Codeavour 6.0 reached a spectacular finale at the international showdown held at the Qatar National Convention Centre, Doha, Qatar, from 16th to 17th May 2025. With participants from 23 countries, over 1,500 attendees, and national events conducted in 17 countries, the event stood as a testament to the global spirit of youth innovation.

Inspiring Words from Global Leaders

Mr. Dhrupal Shah, CEO and Director of STEMpedia, called on students to take small but meaningful steps toward climate action. He shared how Codeavour is more than a competition — it’s a platform for the next generation to channel their creativity toward building a sustainable world. Sharing the spotlight, Ms. Aleksandra Fur, Member Engagement and Projects Officer at the Worlddidac Association, congratulated the students, mentors, and parents for proudly representing their nations. She encouraged young minds to stay curious and committed to lifelong learning, underscoring the role of 21st-century skills in shaping the future.

Their addresses were part of a broader celebration of visionary leadership, which also featured the insights of Dr. Shaker Lashuel, Executive Director of the Global Studies Institute; Dr. Abhilasha Singh Panwar, Senior Education Specialist at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar; Ms. Conchita Ponce, Founder of the Doha Women Forum; and Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutawa, President of MILSET Asia and EC Member of MILSET International. Their words left a lasting impact, encouraging the global youth to be change agents through innovation and empathy.

A Dual-Track Celebration of Ideas and Action

Under Track 1: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, students from three age categories- Elementary (7–10 years), Junior (11–14 years), and Senior (15–18 years)- presented groundbreaking tech-based projects tackling real-world challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The best of these young minds were recognised with prestigious titles, with winners receiving accolades for Outstanding Innovation. Additional distinctions included:

  • Out-of-the-Box Ideas Award
  • Sustainable Project Award
  • Girls in STEM Award
  • Appreciation Award

Under Track 2: Climate Action Challenge, students navigated mission-based robotics challenges, addressing environmental concerns like forest conservation, solar cell efficiency, battery recycling, coastal barrier creation, and marine life protection. Participants stood out for their technical precision, creativity, and impactful problem-solving amid timed challenges and real-world constraints. Participants were also felicitated with the ‘most innovative robotic design award’ for their creativity and innovation.

Codeavour 6.0 International was made possible through the unwavering support of partners from 18 countries, all united by the mission to inspire and empower future innovators. Their collaboration helped amplify the program’s global impact, offering students a platform to learn, build, and shine on the world stage.

The event was organised by the FSEF Foundation in collaboration with the Global Studies Institute and Arkansas University (International Venue Partner), and powered by Vodafone (Event Sponsor). It was supported by the Worlddidac Association, Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, STEMpedia, and ART PARK. Contributions from the Qatar National Convention Centre (International Venue), Al-Farouk (Travel Partner), and the Qatar STEM Society (International Outreach Partner) helped bring this international celebration to life.

Recognising Excellence: Crowing the Global Champion

Codeavour 6.0 International proudly honoured 69 global champions across both tracks and all age categories. These young innovators showcased exceptional thinking and dedication to creating a better world through technology. From national qualifiers to international brilliance, Codeavour has brought together a global community of students using technology for good. More than just a competition, Codeavour is a movement shaping a responsible, sustainable, and inclusive tomorrow- powered by the bright minds of today.
