Finnish Educational Innovations for Life-long learning

The Finnish education system has become one of the leading systems in the world since public education was built up in the middle of the 19th century. The education in Finland is based on the following principles: equality, access, learning rather than testing, teachers’ competencies as well as life-long learning.

Today digitalization is considered as one of the priorities in the renewal of education and learning. Thus, the educational technology sector and start-ups have been set up by innovative teachers, students and entrepreneurs. The innovations are created together with companies and schools.

Join the workshop “Finnish Educational Innovations for Life-long learning” on Thursday, November 8th between 14:00-17:30 pm and learn more about Finland and its education system. A special highlight will be the key note speech of the permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, Mrs. Anita Lehikoinen.
