The educational institution SENA has opened a state-of-the-art training laboratory for Industry 4.0 in the Colombian department of Caldas. Equipped with fischertechnik technology and production simulations, teachers and trainees were given practical preparation for the digital world of work. The aim: to establish Caldas as a national centre for innovative technical training – and here, learning becomes an exciting experience where future technologies can be experienced first-hand.
In Caldas, Colombia, technical education is taking a major step towards the future. SENA, a public institution renowned for its free, high-quality education in technical and technological fields, has decided to modernise its Centre for Industrial Automation. This department, specialising in robotics and artificial intelligence, faced the clear challenge of reinventing itself and becoming a national benchmark to prepare students and skilled workers for the demands of modern industry.
In November 2025, fischertechnik contributed to this modernisation by providing production simulators, temperature control modules, autonomous vehicles and a smart factory for . In addition, fischertechnik supplied robotics, IoT and AI kits. SENA lecturers were trained to teach these technologies. With this equipment, aspiring technicians can understand and apply the methods and processes of modern companies in a practical setting.
By introducing this advanced technology, the Centre for Industrial Automation now offers spaces where theory is put into practice and training is enhanced. The result: functional laboratories, practice-oriented training and a new generation ready to lead the era of Industry 4.0. Today, students in Caldas have access to innovative learning environments where they can experience, design and learn about automation, digitalisation and robotics.
Kolumbien eröffnet Hightech-Ausbildungslabor mit fischertechnik (DE)
Die Bildungsinstitution SENA hat im kolumbianischen Departement Caldas ein hochmodernes Bildungslabor für Industrie 4.0 eröffnet. Ausgestattet mit fischertechnik-Technologie und Produktionssimulationen wurden dort Lehrkräfte und Auszubildende praxisnah auf die digitale Arbeitswelt vorbereitet. Das Ziel: Caldas als nationales Zentrum für innovative technische Ausbildung zu etablieren – und Lernen wird hier zum spannenden Erlebnis, bei dem Zukunftstechnologien direkt erlebbar sind.
In Caldas, Kolumbien, macht die technische Bildung einen großen Schritt in Richtung Zukunft. Das SENA, eine öffentliche Institution, die für ihre kostenlose und hochwertige Bildung im technischen und technologischen Bereich bekannt ist, hat beschlossen, sein Zentrum für industrielle Automatisierung zu modernisieren. Dieser Bereich, spezialisiert auf Robotik und künstliche Intelligenz, stand vor der klaren Herausforderung, sich zu erneuern und zu einem nationalen Referenzpunkt zu werden, um Studierende und Fachkräfte auf die Anforderungen der modernen Industrie vorzubereiten.
Im November 2025 hat sich fischertechnik an dieser Modernisierung beteiligt und Produktionssimulatoren, Tempermodule, autonome Fahrzeuge sowie eine intelligente Fabrik zur Verfügung. Darüber hinaus hat fischertechnik Robotik-, IoT- und KI-Kits geliefert. Die SENA-Dozenten wurden geschult, damit sie diese Technologien vermitteln können. Mit diesen Geräten können angehende Techniker die Methoden und Abläufe moderner Unternehmen praxisnah verstehen und anwenden.
Durch die Einführung dieser fortschrittlichen Technologie bietet das Zentrum für industrielle Automatisierung nun Räume, in denen Theorie in Praxis umgesetzt wird und die Ausbildung gestärkt wird. Das Ergebnis: funktionale Labore, praxisorientierte Ausbildung und eine neue Generation, die bereit ist, die Ära der Industrie 4.0 anzuführen. Heute haben die Studierenden in Caldas Zugang zu innovativen Lernumgebungen, in denen sie Automatisierung, Digitalisierung und Robotik erleben, gestalten und erlernen.
