As Worlddidac continues to evolve in response to global education challenges and opportunities, we took the chance to speak with Myriam Bonilla, President of the Worlddidac Association and Managing Director of a long-standing member company. With six months in office and many years of active engagement within the community, Myriam brings a unique dual perspective — balancing strategic leadership with hands-on understanding of member needs. Within this conversation we aim to explore her vision, priorities, and the path she sees ahead for Worlddidac and its global network.
You’ve been leading Worlddidac for six months now — but you’ve been part of this community for much longer. How has your experience as the head of an esteemed Worlddidac member company shaped your approach to the presidency?
As CEO of EDIBON, I’ve spent more than thirty years understanding the real needs of our industry — growth, innovation, and access to new markets. This hands-on experience helps me focus on practical solutions that bring real value to our members, knowing the necessities they may have.
What are the most pressing expectations you see from our members today — and how do you intend to address them to bring the greatest possible value?
Members are asking for greater visibility, meaningful networking, and support in reaching new regions. We’re working to strengthen these areas through targeted events, better connections, and strategic partnerships.
You often say, ‘Together we are more powerful.’ What does that mean for Worlddidac’s role in connecting companies, institutions, and governments across borders?
It means we achieve more when we work together. Worlddidac serves as a platform to connect businesses with educational institutions and governments, helping to build collaborations that generate real impact. Within the Association itself, many of our members collaborate on projects, giving them a far greater competitive advantage than those who don’t belong to a group like this. “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
“Together we are more powerful. It’s not just a phrase — it’s a mindset.“

Worlddidac Asia 2025 in Hangzhou will be a major milestone. How do you see this event supporting innovation, partnership-building, and visibility for our members?
It will be a key event to showcase innovation, meet key players, and forge new partnerships. We are committed to making it a leading international platform where members can strengthen their presence and explore new opportunities. It will also be a gateway to the vast Chinese market for all members exhibiting there. This will also be true for all of Southeast Asia, as many companies and distributors from all countries in the region are confirming their attendance. We aim to make it a major B2B meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, and customers in the Far East Asia region.
Looking ahead, what’s your vision for how Worlddidac will evolve as both a voice for the education industry and a trusted bridge between markets?
My vision for Worlddidac is to see it evolve into a strong and dynamic global connector. We have to be a Trusted and Valuable Partner to our members, committed to Excellence and Innovation.
We will increase our services, including training programs, workshops, and both in-person and virtual seminars and delegations to enhance the market knowledge.
“We want Worlddidac to be a trusted and valuable partner — committed to excellence and innovation.”
We will broaden international representation by strengthening our presence in new regions and emerging markets. This includes promoting:
- Strategic partnerships with educational institutions, associations, and multilateral organizations worldwide.
- Active participation in global fairs, conferences, and innovative education projects.
- Inclusive spaces that allow local voices and experiences to contribute to the global education agenda.
Ultimately, my vision is for Worlddidac to serve as a bridge between cultures, educational trends, and opportunities — always innovative, responsive, and committed to strengthening the positive impact of global education in all its dimensions.
Finally, what message would you like to share with the Worlddidac network at this moment of global change and opportunity?
This is a crucial moment for the field of education. Not only marked by significant challenges, but also by unprecedented opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration. As the world continues to adapt to rapid technological changes and evolving learning environments, we at Worlddidac are moving forward with both commitment and optimism. We recognize that the future of education depends on our collective ability to innovate, connect, and respond to the diverse needs of learners and educators around the globe.
“This is a crucial moment for education — shaped by both urgent challenges and unprecedented opportunities.”
At the heart of our mission is the unwavering dedication to our members. Worlddidac exists to support them at every stage of their journey, ensuring they remain at the center of all our strategies, ideas, and initiatives. We are fully committed to listening, engaging, and responding to the needs of everyone in this vibrant global community. By strengthening this foundation, we can grow together and continue to shape the future of education in a meaningful and impactful way.
