Plattform für berufsbezogene Erwachsenenbildung (Platform for Vocational Adult Education) is an association consisting of the leading private providers of vocational and business-related training and further education in Austria. Its aim is to promote the importance of work-related adult education for personal, entrepreneurial and overall economic development. Against this background, Platform advocates the creation of suitable framework conditions for individuals and companies to facilitate and expand access to vocational and company-related training activities. Plattform is available to politics, science, the media and companies as a point of contact and prepared to contribute its experience and expertise to the further development of vocational adult education.

Every year Plattform organizes the “Day of Continuing Education and Training”, a large and widely acknowledged event promoting lifelong learning, an commissions the “Continuing Education Study” which highlights current training trends.
