After a very thorough recruitment process the Worlddidac Association is delighted to announce the appointment of Danny Gauch as its new CEO, effective as soon as he completes the contractual obligations at his existing employer. The selection process for a new CEO began in October and Danny was selected from a very strong group of candidates.

Danny Gauch has been working as Product Manager for Process Automation as well as a Regional Sales Manager Asia / Pacific at Festo Didactic GmbH & Co KG. He has gained extensive international sales and marketing experience within the education resources supply industry.

Commenting on Danny Gauch’s appointment, the President of Worlddidac Association, Dr. Chula Gangoda said: „We’ve been looking for a CEO with the energy, passion and experience to lead the organisation to new horizons and, together with the Worlddidac Council achieve the goals announced in the new Business Plan. Danny has extensive knowledge, management and leadership experience in the education sector. His vision of how technology can be used in education, coupled with international sales experience is exactly what Worlddidac needs at this new stage of its development and growth.”

Reflecting on his appointment, Danny Gauch said: “In my mind, Worlddidac has always been positioned as being the collective of innovative contributors for the education industry. I believe that Worlddidac has great potential to further become the “one stop” address for holistic and future oriented education solutions. I am looking forward to closely working together with the Council and the members of Worlddidac in order to increase the recognition of the association around the world and at the same time add further value for its members and partners. It will take some time for me to understand all of the intricacies within the association and to get to know all of its members, but I’m very confident to bring first results soon.”

We believe his broad network of contacts and many years of professional experience in the education industry will enable Danny Gauch to bring in fresh ideas and contribute to the further development of new services to meet the demands of the Association’s members and partners worldwide.
