The buildup of new engineering courses for green energies and sustainable technologies in Ukraine

In the 4th quarter of 2020, the Ivano-Frankivsk University of Oil and Gas launched a new Bachelor’s Program in Renewable Energy Engineering with support from USAID’s Energy Security Project (ESP). USAID experts worked with the university to develop the program’s curriculum, which is designed to help Ukraine meet the need for technical experts for the integration and further development of cost-effective renewable energy resources. USAID also equipped the new program’s laboratories with modern training and simulation equipment, including computers, specialized software, and other ancillary equipment required for specialized training.

With the expertise of leXsolar in the production of equipment in training and education for renewables technologies for the TVET sector and the support of a team of Prof., DSc.eng Maksym Karpash for curricula design the university of Ivano-Frankivsk University of Oil and Gas go forward in her development to modern Bachelor of Engineering courses special in the new energy and sustainable technologies in Ukraine.
