Nisai is approved by Cambridge Assessment International Education and we now offer its world-leading Cambridge programme. The Cambridge Pathway for students aged 5 to 19 is made up of Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced. Success with Cambridge often gives students admission to the world’s best universities – in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany and beyond.
So far, the Nisai curriculum and model has enabled projects around the world, in countries including the Philippines, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. In Thailand, we’re working alongside a local school with learners aged 12 to 18 to provide a short-term English Booster programme to improve the current abilities of their students. The long-term objective is for these students to access long-term IGCSE and A Level courses accredited by Cambridge International and study online with Nisai.
The Nisai model is one that works directly alongside schools but also through partners in the local countries who know the education market. We’re able to expand the offering of local and international schools as an additional complementary service. Through Nisai’s unparalleled scalability, educational organisations can offer Cambridge International subjects without employing more teachers. Alternatively, the online model that Nisai offers has been used to support businesses who are upskilling their in-house staff. Here the Nisai Skills Academy supports the unique requirements of each company and provides a practical and flexible model for training.
The UK curriculum has a global reputation of quality and opportunity, and in the UK this quality is maintained by OFSTED, a Governmental body which inspects and grades all educational facilities to ensure their effectiveness in maintaining the high standards of teaching expected. As other private educational facilities are lamented for their poor quality and poor OFSTED grades, the Nisai Group proves yet again that blended learning and the Virtual Academy are achieving fantastic results. In the past 12 months, both the blended learning model and the Virtual Academy model offered by Nisai have been inspected and obtained a ‘Good’ rating, the second highest grade available. During both inspections, officers produced reports detailing the strengths of Nisai’s offering, praising many fundamental aspects of the quality of teaching and learning. A few of the highlights include statements such as: “Online learning makes a strong positive contribution to pupils’ learning” and “Pupils make outstanding improvements in their behaviour and attendance in response to the care and support of staff.”
Imagine all the positive aspects of a school – the classrooms, qualified teachers, a dedicated support team, extra-curricular activities and form tutors. Now picture it taking place online, in an inclusive and secure environment that welcomes every learner. That is the Nisai Virtual Academy.
