WIC2025 Expands Across Almaty with New Venues and University Partners

The World Inclusion Congress (WIC2025), has received a major boost in visibility and institutional backing. Thanks to the formal support of the Mayor’s Office of Almaty, the Congress has officially been elevated to a citywide event, reinforcing its position as a global milestone in inclusive education and policy innovation.

Organized by IFIP in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and proudly supported by Worlddidac, WIC2025 will now unfold across multiple landmark locations in Almaty — involving top government, academic, and civic institutions.

Swissotel Almaty to Host Ceremonial Keynotes and Global Expo

To reflect the elevated stature of the Congress, the ceremonial sessions and high-level keynote addresses will now take place at the prestigious Swissotel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty. This premier venue provides an inspiring setting for government leaders, education experts, and inclusion advocates to exchange ideas and shape the global inclusion agenda.

The Global Inclusion Innovation Expo, a central feature of WIC2025, will also be held at the Swissotel — placing delegates, exhibitors, and ministers at the heart of the city’s most accessible and well-appointed conference hub.

Free Transportation Between Hotels and Venues

To make the citywide format easy for everyone, the Mayor’s Office will provide complimentary shuttle buses between four designated hotels and the main Congress venues. This ensures smooth and timely travel for all participants across the city.

Two Leading Universities Join as Partners

WIC2025 will also be supported by two of Kazakhstan’s most respected academic institutions:

National Pedagogical University

The country’s oldest and most prominent teacher training university. Faculty and students will take part in key discussions on the future of inclusive education.

Almaty Management University

Known for its dynamic approach to innovation in higher education. The university will host additional sessions and foster student involvement throughout the event.

A Citywide Commitment to Global Inclusion

This expansion marks a powerful shift: WIC2025 is no longer just an international event happening in Almaty — it is a citywide movement. With formal recognition and investment from the Mayor’s Office, the Congress is now embedded within the city’s civic and academic fabric.

“The expansion of WIC2025 reflects the growing international recognition of its mission. Almaty’s commitment to equity, innovation, and inclusive education makes it the ideal stage for global dialogue and action.” — Dr. Rodrigo Sáez Muñoz, Director General, Worlddidac
