The 6th edition of the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF) 2026 will be held under the patronage of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on 10–11 February 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain.
WEIF is positioned as a high-level international forum designed to connect entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, development institutions, and business leaders in order to explore concrete approaches to sustainable industrial development, investment facilitation, and inclusive economic growth.
Achieving the SDGs through Empowering Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Mobilizing Capital for Resilient Communities
Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, WEIF 2026 will focus on how entrepreneurship-driven innovation, access to finance, and public–private cooperation can support resilient economies and long-term development outcomes, particularly in emerging and developing markets.
Forum Focus and Key Features
According to the official WEIF framework, the forum places strong emphasis on:
- Entrepreneurship and SME development as engines of economic diversification
- Investment and financing mechanisms, including impact investment and blended finance
- Innovation ecosystems that support scalable and market-ready solutions
- Partnership-building between governments, financial institutions, private sector actors, and international organizations
WEIF also provides structured opportunities for investment matchmaking, policy dialogue, and cross-border cooperation, supporting the translation of ideas into implementable projects.
Education and Skills for Entrepreneurial Impact
Worlddidac is actively engaged in WEIF 2026 through the leadership and expertise of Dr. Nader Imani, President Emeritus of the Worlddidac Association. His contribution reflects Worlddidac’s long-standing commitment to positioning education and skills development as strategic enablers of entrepreneurship, industrial innovation, and sustainable growth.
Education and skills development are not passive systems supporting entrepreneurship from the sidelines — they are active drivers of innovation, productivity, and resilience. When education co-creates with industry and the private sector, it enables ecosystems that are relevant, demand-driven, and future-ready.
Platforms such as the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF) demonstrate how investors, employers, policymakers, and education stakeholders can align to unlock inclusive prosperity. Lifelong learning and market-oriented qualifications are essential foundations for sustainable industry and resilient communities.
This perspective reinforces the natural link between entrepreneurship, private sector engagement, and skills-based education, aligning closely with WEIF’s focus on mobilizing capital, empowering innovation, and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
Organization and Strategic Partners
WEIF 2026 is organized by UNIDO ITPO Bahrain in collaboration with the League of Arab States, the Union of Arab Chambers, the Union of Arab Banks, and the Bahrain Chamber, and is held in strategic partnership with Kuwait Finance House.
