Worlddidac Asia 2026 Opens in Hangzhou, Bringing the Global Education Industry Together

Worlddidac Asia 2026 officially opened on 15 September in Hangzhou, China, bringing together education solution providers, industry representatives, international organisations and professional buyers for three days of exhibition, exchange and business cooperation.

Jointly organised by Worlddidac Association, the China Educational Equipment Industry Association and Meorient, this year’s event covers 50,000 square metres and brings together more than 300 exhibitors from China and international markets.

The international reach of the exhibition has grown considerably, with more than 3,000 international professional visitors from 35 countries and regions and over 200 representatives of international education organisations and overseas industry associations taking part.

The opening ceremony reflected this international dimension, welcoming representatives from education organisations, institutions and industry associations from across Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Education Technology and Equipment Across the Full Learning Spectrum

The exhibition covers solutions for preschool, basic education, vocational education, special education and higher education, bringing international and Chinese providers together across a broad range of educational technologies and equipment.

AI-supported teaching solutions, vocational training systems, laboratory equipment, smart campus technologies and digital learning applications are among the areas strongly represented this year. International providers including fischertechnik and LD Didactic are exhibiting alongside a substantial presence from China’s educational equipment and technology sector.

A number of interactive areas add a practical dimension to the exhibition. Live demonstrations and hands-on activities give visitors the opportunity to see how new technologies and equipment can be applied in real educational environments rather than only presented as products.

AI and Vocational Education High on the Agenda

The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive professional programme addressing some of the developments currently influencing education and skills systems.

Several major sessions took place on the opening day, including the 2026 Conference on Artificial Intelligence Empowering Innovation and Development of Educational Equipment, the Global Education Key Market Analysis Conference, and dedicated discussions on AI in vocational education, industry–education integration and the development of training capacity for emerging industries.

Experts from universities, schools, international organisations and industry shared practical cases and perspectives on how artificial intelligence is entering educational applications, how vocational education is responding to new skills requirements, and how closer cooperation between education and industry can support implementation.

These are also highly relevant areas for the international Worlddidac community, particularly as institutions and governments look for practical solutions that connect technology investment with teaching, training and workforce needs.

Connecting Supply, Demand and International Markets

Alongside the exhibition and conference programme, Worlddidac Asia 2026 places a strong emphasis on creating direct business connections.

The International Procurement Matching Conference opened with specialised sessions for Nigeria, Indonesia, global and domestic buyers, creating opportunities for suppliers and procurement representatives to meet directly and discuss concrete requirements and potential cooperation.

This reflects an increasingly important part of Worlddidac Asia: connecting international providers with opportunities in China and Asia while also supporting connections between Chinese education solution providers and partners in international markets.

For Worlddidac, this two-way exchange is central to the event. Bringing manufacturers, distributors, education institutions, associations and decision-makers into direct contact helps turn international interest into practical conversations around distribution, procurement, projects and future partnerships.

Worlddidac Asia Continues Through 17 September

The programme continues on 16 and 17 September, with further exhibition activities and professional events, including the 2026 National Educational Equipment Dealers Summit and the 2026 Artificial Intelligence Engineering Education Principals and Deans Academic Seminar.

With participants from across China and a growing international community onsite in Hangzhou, Worlddidac Asia 2026 continues to strengthen its role as a meeting point for the education equipment and technology sector — connecting innovation, market needs and international cooperation. Worlddidac representatives are onsite throughout the event, meeting members, partners and education stakeholders and developing new connections for the international Worlddidac community.
