xEdu partners up with UN Technology Innovation Labs to create a unique Learning Accelerator

We are excited to announce that xEdu has teamed up with United Nations Technology Innovation Labs (UNTIL) to accelerate the development and implementation of new learning solutions around the world.

Under the initiative, titled “UNTIL-XEDU Learning Accelerator”, the selected startups that are developing and providing learning solutions for the needs of the emerging economies are able to join the xEdu acceleration program of Fall ’18.

The official announcement you may find on our website. Meanwhile, we want to share a couple of important updates for current and potential applicants regarding the Fall ’18 Program:

∙ The currently open application period for the upcoming xEdu acceleration program is extended for an additional two weeks for the UNTIL-XEDU Learning Accelerator applications. The deadline: 22 August 2018.
∙ The program starts already in mid-September after the selection process is over.
∙  Concrete results of the first joint acceleration program will be featured in Helsinki at XcitED, the official Slush side-event in December 2018.
∙ If you have already applied to the Fall ‘18 Program there is no need for a separate application. We can discuss the possibility of joining the Learning Accelerator if you get selected for the 2nd round of screening.

Together with UN Technology Innovation Labs, we are looking for education-focused startups that can create great social impact. The UNTIL-XEDU Learning Acceleration Program will include additional tailormade modules focusing on the specific issues of the developing and emerging countries and will continue with chosen UNTIL country pilot deployments in the Spring of 2019.
