The Worlddidac Delegation to Manila took place from 25–30 August 2025, bringing together a global group of TVET innovators and education leaders. The delegation programme featured strategic meetings with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), high-level engagements with TESDA and CHED, and in-depth participation in ASEAN WorldSkills 2025.

We are proud to have hosted this impactful week of dialogue, networking, and collaborative exchange in Southeast Asia.

Tentative Delegation Agenda

25 August (Monday) – Arrival & Welcome

  • Arrival in Manila
  • 14:30: Introductory meeting at Shangri-La Makati
  • 15:30 The estimated departure to the venue for the Opening Ceremony of WorldSkills ASEAN for participants who wish to attend
  • 17:00 Opening Ceremony of WorldSkills ASEAN
  • 19:30 ~ 20:00: Welcome Dinner with ADB representative

26 August (Tuesday) – ADB Meeting & WorldSkills Visit

  • Morning: Meeting with ADB
  • Afternoon: Visit WorldSkills ASEAN and meet national delegations
    (Subject to adjustment if a higher-value opportunity arises)

27–28 August (Wednesday–Thursday) – TESDA & CHED Engagement

  • Meetings with TESDA and CHED
  • Visit to Don Bosco Institute
  • Additional time at WorldSkills as schedule permits

29 August (Friday) – Site Visits & Optional Time

  • Morning: Site visit or high-level meeting
  • Afternoon: Optional time at WorldSkills
    (Some delegates depart in the afternoon)

Meeting Point: Shangri-La Makati will serve as the central hub for delegation activities.
