WorldSkills Lyon 2024 will take place from 10 to 15 September 2024 in Lyon, France. At the world’s biggest education event, more than 1,500 young competitors showcase their talent in 59 skill competitions and 3 exhibition skills. 65 countries and regions proudly participate, and around 250,000 visitors are expected from five continents. WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is the ideal platform to network with experts and inspire the youth.

The place to be for stakeholders in education

If you are enthusiastic about vocational education, qualifying youth and preparing skilled workforce for the job market, then WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is the place to be. The real-life talent show is a free-of-charge event inviting families, school classes, trainers and teachers as well as stakeholders from education, politics, industry, and NGOs. Kids and young people see numerous trades and professions live and can even try them out in interactive areas.

Especially children and teenagers are invited to interact in the action area called “Try-a-skill”.

Trying out skills with their own hands – this experience leaves a long-lasting impression and can help to choose a technical career.

WED-FRI, 11-13 September 2024 at the EUREXPO LYON (ideally located halfway between the Lyon Saint-Exupery International Airport (20 minutes) and the city center (30 minutes)

  • Closing Ceremony

SUN, 15 September 2024 in the Groupama Stadium Lyon, OL Vallée Lyon (France’s 3rd largest stadium in terms of capacity).
