The fischertechnik education Smart Physics learning concept combines physical and digital worlds with a playful introduction to physics. With its comprehensive range of accompanying materials, the set provides a quick introduction to the subject and tasks. fischertechnik’s STEM Smart Physics set contains 107 parts with which ten models can be built, such as various pendulum shapes or a string. The models allow various physical experiments to be conducted. Accelerated bodies, harmonic oscillations and the dispersion and spectrum of sound – thrilling tasks await learners, allowing them to test hypotheses and explore the laws of physics in a practical way. Through creative, independent experimentation and building models with the components, young people simultaneously develop their fantasy and team spirit while gaining confidence.
The physical behaviour of the various models can be read through the sensors of pupils’ smartphones using the phyphox app contained in the learning concept, providing an immediate and detailed analysis of the results. Through the combination of theory and practice, learners obtain a profound understanding of the principles of physics while developing their problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. The educational accompanying material developed especially for the curriculum by engineers and teachers allows the concept to be applied directly in lessons.
