ADESSA, the voice of the e-education industry in South Africa, continues making progress in building and maintaining its relationship with government education departments in South Africa. It has been appointed in 2019 by the Basic Department of Education to develop a digital content framework document, and a draft has been completed and presented to the department.
The membership of ADESSA is climbing and we now have 49 members; each one of these members have a solid footprint in Southern Africa. ADESSA members include hardware companies, content developers, training companies and other providers of e-learning products and services.
During 2020 ADESSA will aim to assist its members and government to gain a better understanding of each other’s offering and strategies. We will also continue building relationships with other global bodies in order to provide new business opportunities for our members.
